Technical Writer / Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Becomes an expert on the BoardVantage SAAS Product
  • Work with account managers, product manager and customer support team to gather business requirements
  • Translate the requirements into technical documentation
  • Work with QA to document the use cases
  • Coordinate with Engineering team to write release documents
  • Works with to create comprehensive product documentation and FAQs to support every release
  • Works with technical staff to create functional and technical FAQs for our developers
  • Updates existing content in the knowledge base
  • Creates engaging training and self-guided tutorials for business and technical users
  • Supports creating winning marketing content used in the sales process

Required Skills/Experience:

  • You must be an excellent writer with an eye for detail
  • Experience in web based technologies is a must
  • Be competent with a variety of content creation tools: MS Word, PowerPoint, wikis, Photoshop or similar image editing app to help the team in minor graphic designs
  • Candidates with a degree in graphic design or a related field is a plus
  • Have a minimum of three years’ experience writing documentation or training materials

Preferred:

  • Have software industry especially, preferably SaaS or social media
  • Be a strong self-started with a passion for conceiving valuable content and bringing it to life
  • Have some technical skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Are exceptionally organized while working on multiple projects
