Sales Manager, Central
BoardVantage is looking for a central US based sales manager. This candidate will have a track record of success in meeting sales targets consistently in complex selling environments. Success is determined by goal attainment, the ability to multitask between a large number of sales cycles and the demonstration of domain and product expertise to the customer. This position reports to the regional vice president of sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive territory plan; build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
- Develop, manage and close new opportunities
- Demo the company's platform via a Web conference or in person and communicate their associated benefits to Executives, Managers, IT and Legal departments
- Process customer inquiries promptly, including information requests, product demos and follow-up calls
- Achieve assigned quarterly and yearly quotas
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles from business champion to C-level Executives
- Experience with online selling (WebEx, Go To Meeting)—this is a must
- Proven track record of over-achieving quota consistently
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, virtual team environment
