    The Briefcase is an encrypted and password-protected folder designed for storage of sensitive documents and personal notes on a director's iPad or laptop.

    The Briefcase is a prominently displayed icon. When connected to the Internet, simply click the icon. When not connected to the Internet the login screen presents the Briefcase as default option. Once you entering the User ID and password you will be in the system.

    The Briefcase on any of the devices used to access BoardVantage. All annotations, whether notes or highlights are synchronized back to the server, so will be available whether logging in from an iPad while on the road or from a desktop while in the office.

    No, annotations are strictly private unless you explicitly choose to share them with other directors or the Corporate Secretary.

  10. What happens to deleted files?

    Deleted files are permanently purged and therefore irretrievable. This applies downloaded documents as well as personal notes.
