NRG Energy, Inc. Selects BoardVantage
Company transitions board communications from internal system to BoardVantage portal
Menlo Park, CA (June 19, 2007)—NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG), a Fortune 500 company which owns and operates a diverse portfolio of power generating facilities in the United States, has adopted the BoardVantage board portal to manage its board communications. NRG is using BoardVantage to automate board book preparations and provide directors and executives with convenient, secure access to board materials.
NRG is transitioning its board communications from an internal electronic delivery system to the BoardVantage board portal. With BoardVantage, the corporate secretary's office is able to assemble, update, and distribute board information more quickly, thereby freeing up resources to focus on other priorities.
